Since humidity is high right now, staying hydrated and getting plenty of shade is key to having a comfortable trip. Most private charters offer A/C for those who need to cool off, particularly after a tough fight. The ocean temperatures are ranging between 77-81°F, creating an ideal environment for a variety of fish species. When you’re fishing in August, it’s a good idea to pack your lightweight rain gear, a long-sleeved shirt, and a tight-fitting hat with a brim to keep spray, sun, or rain out of your eyes.
