About Jaco, Costa Rica
Jaco is a beach town, located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. In recent years, it has grown to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in Central America. The small town is located within the Canton (similar to a country or parish) of Garabito, which has just over 10,000 residents. Despite the small population, there are plenty of things for vacationers to enjoy. Jaco Beach
Jaco Beach is a 2.5 mile long ocean beach that is one of the most popular attractions in the area. The City of Jaco
Jaco is a small city where many of the people you see will be fellow tourists or residents staying in the area only during peak tourism seasons. The Mountains
Jaco’s elevation is about seven meters (23 feet) above sea level, so there won’t be any adjustments necessary for most tourists. These mountains reach up to about 914 meters (3000 feet) and provide for many great opportunities for scenic photographs.
