While we do not guarantee that you will see animals on any of the tours we offer, our tours have been designed to maximize your chances by putting you in the right place at the right time. The animals you might see on the tours we offer are wild. Although we make no direct promises, we enjoy a rich variety of wildlife in Costa Rica, so seeing animals and/or rare birds while you are in the rainforest is subject to the whims of nature. This applies to our tours of Manuel Antonio National Park, The Monkey Mangrove tour, Crocodile tours, ATV's, Zipline Canopy tours and any other tours that offer the chance to see flora and fauna in the wild.
Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended on our ATV tours to protect your ankles and feet from any debris that might fly up while you are driving your machines through the rainforest. Ultimately, you must sign our waiver that absolves us of any potential liability and as such, you can make the determination for yourself.
Many of the tours we offer have children’s discounts, including the Crocodile tour, Tortuga Island trips and more. In order to see if there is a children’s price for a tour you are interested in doing, simply click the “Reserve” link on the tour’s web page and then scroll to the “Book Now” tab. Any children's’ discount pricing that is available will be shown there.
We offer rafting tours in several parts of Costa Rica. The Savegre, El Chorro and Naranjo take place in Quepos (near Manuel Antonio). The Pacuare rafting adventure leaves out of the San Jose area in Turrialba. Rio Balsa and Rio Sarapiqui leave from the La Fortuna / Arenal area.
Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna are approximately 3.5-4 hours from Jaco.
The short answer is ‘no.’ Hot springs are formed when rocks and other matter deep within the Earth’s surface become heated. These heated elements force water below the surface up, creating hot springs. In order for this phenomena to happen, there has to be a suitable heat source. In the case of hot springs in Costa Rica, more often than not, that heat source is volcanic activity. Since there are no active volcanoes in or around the Jaco / Los Suenos area, we do not have hot springs available here. The closest volcanic source for hot springs is Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, which is approximately 3.5-4 hours from Jaco.
We do not offer airfare for purchase. We recommend using whatever source you typically book your air travel through.
Our vacation packages do not include airfare - you will need to purchase airfare separately. Once you have purchased your tickets, update us with your flight info so that we can make the necessary arrangements for pick up and drop off back off at the airport in accordance with your flight times.
