What is the maximum weight for the zipline tour?

There is no specific weight limit on the zipline canopy tours , our reference is 260 pounds, however, this depends on the harness size. The safety harness has a maximum circumference of 42” at the natural waistline (not at the hips, which is where we typically measure our jeans, and thus, tend to think that is our waistline). You find the natural waist by standing up straight and then bending to the left or the right until there’s a dip in your side. That dip is the natural waist - it’s typically around 1-2 inches above the belly button. If you measure 39” or less there, you will be fine to do the zipline.

?

Are your rafting tours safe?

Absolutely as safe as we can make them. We have guides with extensive experience, many are members of the Costa Rican rafting team. Each raft has a guide who will provide instructions before and during the journey. For additional safety, a kayaker will accompany the group close by.

Do I need to book in advance?

The short answer is, ‘yes.’ The importance of booking ahead of time is impacted by several factors including: size of your group, flexibility of your schedule and types of tours or services you would like to book. If you would like to book a fishing charter, transportation, a tour package or a complete vacation package with us, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to guarantee availability. Likewise, for larger groups we recommend advanced bookings to guarantee that we will have available spaces for all of the members of your group to go on the desired tours together. Finally, if you have a set schedule such as a wedding party or corporate event that leaves you with a small window of time for the tours you would like to do, advanced reservations are recommended so that we can do our best to accommodate you as your schedule and availability permits. The smaller your group and the more flexible your schedule is, the easier it will be for us to accommodate you with short notice. We will accommodate all reservation requests regardless of when you book if spaces remain, but without a reservation in place, all of the tours or services we offer are on a first come, first served basis.

You will need to supply your own sunscreen or bug spray for any of the tours we offer. We do not have bug-issues per se, but because of the higher humidity in Costa Rica, we recommend using waterproof sunscreen and applying it often.
